YOYA
"Dreaming of a beautiful YOYA store in 2002". These were the only words written as a New Year's wish on a greeting card in December 2001. We love children, we love design, we love art and we love fashion. Our vision was to combine our passions from our various and different backgrounds to create a modern and innovative environment in children's retail. Happily we succeeded, as Yoya has been a source of inspiration to many. New York Magazine voted Yoya "Best Kid's Store" in 2002 and numerous magazines, TV shows and films have featured our shop. For the last thirteen years, we have been bringing the best in children's fashion and design to our store in New York's West Village. We have a great team known for our village sensibilities toward customer relations and personal attention. We are all dedicated to making your experience at Yoya a special one. We are a neighborhood store with an international appeal. Our focus on simple and beautiful products has earned us the support from people all over the world. As it turns out....people seem to love what we love. Thank you for helping to make our dream a reality. Cristina Villegas, a native of Colombia, has spent the past 20 years establishing her life and career in New York City. She is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters, thirteen-year-old Mila and eight-year-old Uma. On top of being a full time mother, she is the owner of Yoya in Manhattan's West Village.
