ZIMEX Aviation is a Swiss-headquartered niche air operator mainly serving the oil&gas, humanitarian industries, and now the express cargo industry. All heavy maintenance activity on its utility fleet is performed in house at Altenrhein Airport, Switzerland, the location from where ZIMEX also serves as MRO (Maintenance Repair Organization) for third party aircraft as the only FESC (Factory Ensorsed Service Center) on Twin Otter aircraft in Europe. Established in 1969, the Company boasts a 47-year track record of exceptional service performance and the highest level of reliable, cost effective services in its various markets. At present, ZIMEX operates a fleet of 20 aircraft: 5 Pilatus Porter, 12 Twin Otter, 1 Beech 1900D, and now 2 ATR72F.
