CD Light, LLC, d.b.a. ZipInfo.com was founded in September, 1993, for the purpose of developing CD-ROM-based software and database products. In October, 1994, we shipped our first product, a CD-ROM-based Windows program for verifying and correcting addresses called USA UNZIPPED (now called Perfect Address). We added our first ZIP code database, ZIPList5, in March, 1995, and the Software Developer's Kit in August of that same year. Since then we have steadily expanded our line of ZIP code databases and Windows programs. Starting in December, 1997, we began offering monthly database subscriptions, making our ZIP code databases and programs the most accurate, complete, and up-to-date available. In January, 1996, we created our first web site and began selling our products via the Internet. In December, 1996, we changed our web site domain name to zipinfo.com, and began placing more emphasis on the Internet for product information, order processing, and product delivery. ZIP code databases and related programs for the Windows environment are our only business. Our small size makes it possible for us to respond rapidly to meet the needs of our customers and the marketplace. By providing quality programs and databases at bargain prices, we have quickly become the leading supplier of ZIP code databases to Fortune 500 companies. Although sales have grown rapidly, we have retained our "small business" attitudes of fast, friendly service and low cost.
