Zona Franca de Iquique

Zona Franca de Iquique S.A. (ZOFRI) is a Chile-based company, which manages a tax-free business center. The Company's Free Trade Zone is a plot of 200 hectares, located in the city of Iquique (northern Chile), where merchandise can be brought in, stored and exported, remaining exempt from customs fees and sales tax, and where companies operate under special tax benefits. The Company is responsible for the development and promotion of Iquique's Free Trade Zone, as provided in the concession contract signed with the Chilean Government. The Company carries out investments in infrastructure and significant promotional activities worldwide. ZOFRI also offers commercial facilities, logistics, real estate management, information systems, an industrial park, warehouses and a membership scheme. Its commercial facilities encompass a tax-free mall, comprised of more than 400 stores, food halls, cafes, an amusement park, a nursery, parking lots and area designed for relaxation.
