The founders of Zu believed they had the passion, and experience, to create products that would exceed expectations; loudspeakers and cables that would return realism to the music and continually satisfy the listener. So building on the foundation set by our audio forefathers, Zu is focused on making performance centered products music lovers can attain. You can see the influence of the early giants in Zu's products: the manufacturing attitudes of Lansing, invention of Tesla, and hard work of Edison. Uniting the past with Zu's comprehensive design approach, and modern U.S. manufacturing, Zu is creating the next American classics and is dedicated to bring back the stereo as the most important and rewarding furnishing in the home. Zu extracts the emotion in recorded music through applied physics, common sense, and attentive listening. Zu's efforts to make playback real and accessible are realized in our loudspeaker and cable products. Zu loudspeakers use original concepts and design themes to restore aliveness and fi delity in playback. Our design innovations are our answer to the question of why modern hi-fi is so often clinical and dead. We believe "high-end" audio has focused to much on gimmick and not enough on fundamental electrodynamics, and has grown inattentive to the inspiration available through music.
