Location: Koala is all-remote, with roughly Central Time working hours.
We're hiring for a Head of Growth @ Koala. Exact role & seniority are flexible - the right candidate is a hands-on builder who is insanely excited to build Koala's core demand gen engine. The ideal candidate has a marketing or growth background, has managed paid channels before, and can help us refine our product marketing message.
Koala
- ~3x rev this year so far (in low single-digit millions ARR)
- ~170 paying customers
- Very efficient business with years of runway
GTM
- Started PLG and will continue to invest here (making major expansion so reps can use Koala for enrichment & other workflows without Ops)
- Early success layering in a much higher-ACV sale
- Phenomenal NRR on early customers
Product
- Very well-loved
- Very deep, but in subtle ways (too subtle - sometimes people don't learn of functionality until they are halfway through their contract!)
Team
- 8 FTE (3 founders, 2 eng, 1 Design, 1 Sales, 1 GTM generalist)
- Strong designer, engineering, website team
- Will work closely with founders to execute experiments & campaigns
Where you come in
- we need to build awareness and engagement in social (personally, founder-led, and community-generated)
- we need to build education and community around our product
- we haven't figured out any real growth channels beyond word of mouth and LinkedIn content
- we have positioning challenges as we add one major module each quarter, which we plan to continue doing (eg., warm outbound automation, waterfall contact enrichment, third-party signal platform)
- we have a PLG strategy we're excited about that needs refinement and iteration
- we have a few crazy SEO ideas we're excited about that need refinement and execution
- we want to prepare the pipeline engine for a breakout year next year
- we want you to be Koala's #1 user as well
We plan to unlock significant budget as we start to generate pipeline, which will be the north-star goal.
