Introducing Koala Coach: AI that tells sellers what to do next

There’s no shortage of intent tools promising more “insight.” But in 2025 the problem isn’t lack of information—it’s information overload. Hyper-tuned intent scores, enrichment overlays, excessive CRM fields… all this context without direction creates decision fatigue in even the best sellers. Unfortunately, most AI features in these platforms are making the problem worse.
We built Coach to flip how AI is used in sales cycles—to not just collect but reason across all of your go-to-market context to deliver clear, prescriptive next steps for every lead, according to the sales motions you prefer. It’s the difference between “Here’s more data,” and, “Here’s what to do next, and why.”
This isn’t just AI enrichment. It’s AI guidance.
The rep experience problem
Even with great signals, reps today are left stitching everything together manually. A typical day looks like this:
- A Slack ping says someone from a key account viewed the pricing page.
- Salesforce has a record, but it’s thin.
- LinkedIn says the prospect just changed jobs.
- Outreach shows a sequence from 6 months ago.
- AI writing assistants? They’ll help write a message—but only if you already know what you're trying to say.
Reps are expected to absorb all of this and come up with the perfect angle. That’s not enablement—that’s a mess.
Koala Coach: Reasoning, not just reporting
Koala Coach doesn’t just collect signals. It connects them.
By leveraging our AI Reasoning Engine across everything Koala knows about a lead—product usage, web visits, CRM fields, previous comms, team notes, public news, social posts, and more—Coach generates a personalized, strategic recommendation for what to say, and when to say it. And because Coach is also connected to the Plays you set up with unique AI research agents on each, there’s no need for reps to run additional agents on a lead that lands in their Magic Inbox (though they can, if they want!).
No more deciding which AI prompts to deploy after every signal.
No more hunting for the right next CTA.
No more sifting through the CRM and call notes.
No more worrying that someone else just reached out.

How it works
When a lead enters your Magic Inbox after matching conditions defined in a Play, Koala Coach activates instantly—delivering a full breakdown of the opportunity and highly contextual next steps.
🧠Coach Components:
- Context summary – What just happened? Why was this lead prioritized?
- Account and contact research – Recent events, presentations, promotions, and anything else assigned a research agent when setting up Plays.
- CRM insights – Last touchpoint, open opps, owner history, current stage
- AI-suggested outreach – Hyper-personalized messaging, aligned to your preferred sales startegy
- Action suggestions – What’s the right CTA? Book a meeting? Share a resource? Loop in someone else?
Everything is editable. Everything is traceable. But most importantly—everything is actionable.
Before vs. After: A Familiar Scenario

How Koala Coach compares to other intent solutions using agentic AI
Most intent platforms are adding agentic AI to collect information and suggest messaging based on that data.
- Account Research tools: Tools like Rox and Tome let you deploy research agents to pre-qualify opportunities, but gather no additional first or third party intent data. They’re an incomplete solution, especially given intent platforms like Unify, Common Room, and Koala now all offer agentic AI for this same use case.
- AI SDRs: Tools like 11x and Unify use AI to execute pointwise campaigns based on a narrow set of top of funnel data points which can result in higher levels of pipeline leak after that first meeting. Unlike 11x, Unify does enable reps to deploy AI research agents on the account level, but must draft their own message based on limited signals (rather than any from the CRM, sales processes, engagement with high-converting content, etc). Their “Coach” then just suggests changes to messaging the rep has already drafted.
- Signal Aggregators: Tools like Common Room and Pocus are great at reporting facts across internal and external data sources, but do little to help the rep navigate all this information. Common Room’s Roomie AI lets users run individual AI agents to summarize activity from the CRM and signal sources, but requires manual orchestration—the rep needs to decide what questions to ask of every lead. And while it can help write a message, it doesn’t factor in different paths for different plays or broader deal strategy.
Koala Coach bridges the gaps left by these other solutions. Coach doesn’t ask reps to write messaging based on AI discoveries, nor does it ask them to choose the right agent or workflow to supply those inputs—it delivers a clear recommendation the moment a lead lands in their Magic Inbox, based on agents that have already run for each Play. Aside from first, second, and third party signals that trigger each Play, Coach also considers CRM, publicly available data, voice and tone, and sales process, combining all inputs into clear advice on next steps. Coach is not a summarizer, nor a chatbot, nor “Grammarly for sales.” It’s individual sales strategy, on demand.
