The Visitor View in Koala provides real-time insights into the actions prospects are taking (Koala’s secret sauce!). If you’ve already read our Account View overview, you’ll be familiar with the setup and filters. Now, let’s dive into a few tips to make the most of this powerful feature.

Key Components of the Visitor View:

  • Name: Individuals who have visited your website or product.
  • Company: The respective companies of these visitors.
  • Fit Score: Based on closed-won opportunities in your CRM.
  • Last Action: The last action taken by the individual.
  • Session Time: The time spent by the visitor on your site.
  • Activity: A visual representation of their activity over time.
  • Signals: The number of intent signals they have triggered.
  • Custom Columns: Add relevant columns like job titles to better prioritize data.

Tips to Make the Most of the Visitor View:

  • Use custom columns: Customize your view by adding columns for the key information you need. For example, some sellers like being able to see the titles of all individuals, which can be added as a user attribute. You can also use this attribute as a filter to only show specifics in your view.
  • Zero-in on engagement: Use engagement filters to narrow down to high-intent prospects. For example, if you have learned that prospects spending over 2 minutes on a specific tech doc is a strong signal, you can filter that here.
  • Use time filters: The last action filter in your view can be incredibly helpful in knowing who the most recent person to engage was. You can also filter using last seen to identify prospects over the past day, week, month, and all time.
  • Utilize CRM filters: These filters pull in data from your CRM, such as account owner, territory, and other stored information. For example, you can filter this view to show only prospects from accounts that belong to you using our CRM integrations (Salesforce/HubSpot).
  • Filter to identified emails: Use the user attribute to display only emails that have been identified or match specific criteria, such as work emails. This helps you avoid seeing anonymous and poor fit prospects in your view.
  • Monitor the live view: Keep an eye on the live view to catch prospects in real-time as they engage with your website or product. This can be particularly useful after receiving a Slack alert to see if that prospect is still active on the site.
